Emergency Equipment

Locomotive Engines & General Engineering carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on the following emergency backup equipment:

• Fire pumps
• Generators
• Compressors

All major repair work and overhauls are carried out in our head office workshop, based in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. All other minor work is carried out on site by our highly skilled technicians. All work is carried out to the highest quality to ensure compliance to the various oil refineries throughout Africa.

We provide repairs to a variety of engines, including Caterpillar, Cummins, John Deere, Perkins, Mitsubishi, Rolls Royce and Deutz engines. A wide variety of spares are kept in our main workshop store. The Bellis and Morcom compressors and Mirlees engines are specifically maintained and serviced for the mining industry.

All work is carried out to OEM specifications and where OEM spares are no longer available, spares are fabricated according to OEM specifications.
